BANGS & YOUR FACE SHAPE

oval faces..usually this face shape can wear any type of hair style including having bangs. Bangs in most styles suit an oval shape face.  When deciding what kind of bangs to get, think about your hair type, hair texture, as well as its length & condition.

round faces..the most flattering bang style for round faces tend to be built upon long, softly layered or feathered bangs which gently hug the cheek areas to minimize round cheeks.  Bangs can add beautiful contour to round shaped features.  Great bangs can instantly chisel into the cheekbones and help them pop.

long face shapes..blunt brow hugging bangs that softly drape over the forehead will help to give the impression of a more oval-shaped face.  This oval look can be strengthened by choosing long or graduated layers that softly fall down the sides of the face.

square faces..consider getting side-swept bangs that gently curve or taper inwards towards the jaw to soften a pronounced square face shape.

heart shapes..a side swept feathered or texturized bang style is usually a great option. Heart shaped faces can also usually carry off full bangs cut straight across the face.

triangle faces..a slight wispy fringe will cover and conceal a wide forehead. It will also bring it into a better proportion with a wide chin. Avoid the flat, pageboy fringes.
