Start planning now! It’s finally time to finish high school and celebrate with the perfect ball. Have a think about your budget and consider applying for a part-time job if you don’t already have one so you can save enough money for all the things that you want.
Make a list of everything that you think you’ll need and estimate the costs. You can also download and print our ‘Ball Budget Buddy’ to help you keep on track of your spending.
Think about who you would like to go to the ball with as your date.

Get yourself a date! Start finalising who the lucky girl is going to be.
Organize and book the limousine or car that you will travel in. All the best cars get booked out way in advance so get in early.
Start organizing and deciding upon pre and/or post ball parties.

Make sure that you know what colour your date's dress is so that you can co-ordinate your outfit.
Finalise your decisions about what you're going to wear including shoes, tie, cufflinks etc etc.

Have a dress rehearsal. This is really necessary. You need to see how it all comes together and make sure everything is how you want it.
Make a last minute list to see if you have done everything so that you don’t forget anything important.
Get your hair cut if you need to.
Ring around and confirm everything such as the car hire company, your spraytan, the venue etc.

Relax! You will look perfect and no-one will notice any little imperfections anyway except you so don’t stress. This will be one of the most awesome and fun nights of your life.

Confirm with your date where you will be meeting and at what time etc.
Charge your mobile phone and camera. This is not the night to run out of battery charge!
Have a snack because you may not get to eat again for a little while.
Have a shower and go through your beauty routine!!
Give your self at least an hour to get dressed and ready. You want everything to be perfect and unrushed.
